I always enjoy a walk through the the water gardens. When my children were younger they could spend hours racing around the paths that circle the pools, fountains and waterfall. As they have got larger the paths don't seem as long as they use to but it is still relaxing to sit on a shaded bench listening to the water splash and gurgle.

Good park for kids, water is quiet dirty and would be better if it was kept clean.

Very well maintained park with beautiful shaded playground and shady pathways for cool walks along ponds. It is an old park so the trees are majestic and provide plenty of shade everywhere It also has some hills (for card board sliding) and open grass aeas for some ball games. Bring the kids scooter or bike to have a ride along the concrete paths. Don't forget your insect repellent though as it is close to the coast and has a lot of water itself so there can be a lot of mozzies around. And despite the shade sunscreen is paramount. Sadly there are no water play areas despite the suggestive name. Otherwise it would have gotten the 5 star rating

The large shaded playground nearby a barbecue area is great for children of all ages and the massive grassed areas are great for kicking balls around. The whole area has footpaths which are in good condition and there are public bathrooms nearby. The water gardens themselves are quite nice to walk through and there is a nice skatepark in the area too.
